Beach K 236 lies on the northeastern side of the island, immediately south of Woodhouse Point, and is linked to beach K 235 by a 200 m wide barrier. The 150 m long beach faces into the easterly winds which have built a 2-3 m high grassy foredune, with a small creek crossing the northern end of the beach. It is bordered by steeply dipping rocks truncated by a high tide rock platform and is fronted by 200 m wide reef flats. Beach K 237 lies 300 m due south, and is a narrow 200 m long strip of primarily intertidal sand extending to the base of the cliffs where driftwood covers the top of the beach. It is fronted by 100 m wide reef flats.
