Beach WA 823 is located on the tip of the point and consists of a 300 m long sandy beach fronted by 100 wide calcarenite flats. It is bordered by a groyne at its southern end and the 600 m long Wapet groyne or Woodman Spit to the north. Seagrass debris is commonly piled up on the narrow low energy beach.
