The first beach (172) lies 1 km west of Parsons. It is 220 m long backed by gently sloping grassy slopes and a low bluff, with a small foredune and the beach. It has a 100 m wide surf zone with usually two permanent rips against the jagged rock platforms to each end. During big seas the sand is stripped off revealing a cobble-boulder beach and rocks reefs in the surf.
Beach Length: 0.22km
